As a Jewish girl who grew up in Brooklyn, my love for everything bagels is strong. Whether it’s toasted and spread with veggie cream cheese, or piled high with lox, tomato, capers and red onion, it’s hard to find a more perfect food.
Unfortunately, living in South Carolina, where there are zero options for a decent bagel, I have to make do with everything bagel seasoning. When I first discovered it, I think we went through a jar in a couple weeks, seasoning everything from avocado toast to grain bowls to salmon burgers.
So when SeaPak told me about their newest product, Everything Bagel Butterfly Shrimp, my excitement level was basically an 11 on a scale of 1-10. Seriously, how can you not love the combination of crispy butterfly shrimp and everything bagel seasoning? I’ve long been a fan of SeaPak’s crispy butterfly shrimp, and this upgrade with everything bagel seasoning and a cream cheese chive sauce is chefs kiss
As I’ve frequently shared on the blog before, I love to keep frozen protein options on hand for quick and easy meals, like this everything bagel shrimp slider. Cooking meals from home is a great way to work in nutrient dense fresh foods, and while it’s nice to have a night with enough time to cook everything from scratch, that’s just not realistic most of the time. I also find having a convenient protein option creates space to spend more time making a super tasty vegetable side, like I did with the chopped salad I served with this. Since SeaPak shared this product with me, I’ve used it to top a salad of crisp romaine, summer, tomatoes, avocado and bacon, and as I shared on IG last month, to make a fun seafood platter for a backyard dinner date. But I think this Everything Bagel shrimp burger Slider was definitely my favorite use!
How to Make This Everything Shrimp Slider Recipe
These shrimp sliders couldn’t be easier to make! While the shrimp get crispy in the oven, I whipped up an easy slaw by mixing coleslaw with the cream cheese chive sauce that comes with SeaPak’s Everything Bagel Butterfly Shrimp, then spiked it with fresh dill and chopped capers to dress it up a bit.
That’s literally almost all the hands on work! When the shrimp are crispy, arrange the shrimp slider with a slice of juicy tomato, a few rounds of red onion, a scoop of slaw, and pile the bun with as much shrimp as it can handle!
To give it a little extra everything bagel goodness, I did a quick egg wash on the buns, and sprinkled them with a bit more seasoning before toasting.
What to Serve with These Shrimp Sliders
I served these shrimp sliders with an easy chopped salad – feel free to whip up my favorite chopped side salad recipe if you make this at home! You can also serve shrimp sliders with chips (I bet the dill pickle flavored kettle chips would be a perfect combo!), or fries.
